The Gout Clinic

A typical Gout Patient came by for gout treatment.

 

Male, age 63, obese, nationality USA, complaining about pain in big toe and numbness in feet.

The patient said he had diabetes.

The patient did bring recent bloodwork (2 months old) with him showing elevated Glucose (188 mg/dl), Uric Acid (8.2 mg/dl), and high Creatinine 1.5 mg/dl.

We calculated his GFR to be only 49 ml/min/1.73m2.

Clinical evaluation of his limbs showed inflammation at his left big toe area, edema in both feet, impaired circulation in both his lower limbs, and  severe neuropathic in both feet.

He lives in the neighborhood and is available for treatments, so we decided to treat him ambulant.

​

Treatment plan:

Treating Pancreas, Spleen, Kidney, Liver, Nerves, and Circulation,

through

- Whole Body PEMFT

- Deep Spinal Needling with electrical stimulation.

- Reducing TNF production

Amount of treatments: three times per week, three treatments. (nine treatments per week). First evaluation after two months.

After two months of treatment, 87 treatments in total, the patient felt much better. Lost 7 kg weight, is now only slightly obese. No more edema was observed, no more inflammations and neuropathy in the feet.

Bloodwork showed that his kidney function improved considerably (Creatinine 1,34 mg/dl, GFR 56 ml/min/1.73m2), Uric Acid (5.8 mg/dl) and glucose (99.1 mg/dl) normalized.

Notes:

This patient is, for the moment, gout-free, with a reduced, normal uric acid level. For the moment we do not expect more Gout Attacks. However, we will continue treating the patient once per week in order to improve the Kidneys further. We like to see the GFR to reach a minimum of 80 ml/min/1.73m2.

We usually count on 420 - 450 treatments to reverse gout. Probably this patient will need lesser treatments.

These treatments are normally given during a Intensive Full Program of 35 days.
